Campbell Nelson Cares
Campbell Nelson Cares has a goal to not only give to worthy
causes, but to encourage others to give as well. That's why we
are encouraging your donation to help with this critical relief
work.
For several years, the Campbell Nelson family has supported
World Concern's humanitarian programs in some of the poorest
countries on the planet.
In January and February, Campbell Nelson Cares was able to make
cash donations to World Concern to assist them in this critical
work in Haiti.
In March, Campbell Nelson Cares was able to donate 120
“Kids
Healing Kits” to World Concern. Campbell Nelson
Cares would like
to thank to our many customers and
local businesses that helped
to make this possible.
In addition, Campbell Nelson Cares was able to make a
donation
of bath soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and
other important
hygiene items to several local charities.
World Concern working in Haiti
World Concern has worked in
Haiti since 1977. With your help, they
supplied more than 70,000 Haitians with food, water and tarps
for emergency shelter. Now the rebuilding of Haiti must begin.
World Concern is now employing Haitians in Its Cash for
Work program. This enables local breadwinners to receive an income
by clearing debris and repairing surviving homes in their own
neighborhoods.
As of April 2010, World concern has built its first homes in Haiti.
The first 3 homes were prototypes, to allow for a local evaluation
of the suitability of the structures.
You can
help World Concern right now by visiting the World Concern Website
and donating generously to this important effort.
